Robotics, engineering, and programming are becoming common terms in a world that is excelling in the technology forefront. The MD 4-H program is expanding these horizons by teaching concepts to incorporate the robotics program into community and school settings. In this workshop you will learn to build a LEGO WeDo robot out of LEGOs and program it to come alive by using drag and drop programming. The WeDo robotics platform is suggested for children between the ages of 7-11. Concepts in language, writing, mathematics, science, engineering, technology, communication, teamwork and independence are
incorporated into teaching materials that will be shared.
